Judaea, City Coins. Gadara. Lucius Verus, 161-169 AD. AE 24 mm., dated 161/162 AD. Scarce. Laureate and cuirassed bust right, viewed slightly from behind. Reverse: Laureate bust of youthful Herakles right, wearing lion skin. SNG ANS 1317; Ros. IV, p. 44, 57. Well struck and centered, with stylish workmanship. Handsome bluish-green patina, with earthen areas. Choice Very Fine.
