Judaea. Lot of Small AE's, Procuratorial Period, c. 9-60 AD. LOT SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS. All nicely identified in cardboard/cellophane holders, perhaps 20 years ago. Material comprised of common types and some varieties. Procurators seen: Coponius, Marcus Ambibulus, Valerius Gratus, Pontius Pilate, Antonius Felix, and Porcius Festus. Inspection suggested for conditions and surfaces, and accuracy of attribution. Excellent beginner's lot; including three examples of Pontius Pilate. Lot of 18 coins. Coins range from Fine to Choice Very Fine, a few lesser.
