1890-CC Morgan Dollar. NGC graded MS-64 Deep Prooflike. Lightly toned around the edges. Unsurpassable in terms of surface preservation for the much scarcer CC-mint issue of 1890, both sides are thickly frosted on the devices, mirror-smooth in the fields, and essentially tone-free except at the margins, as noted. Any collection of Carson City Mint dates will be nominally ruled over by this handsome deep prooflike specimen like a king in his castle. Pop 116; 7 finer in 65.
