1885-CC Morgan Dollar. PCGS graded MS-64 Deep Mirror Prooflike. Untoned. We have handled a fair number of prooflike CC-mint Morgans, business strikes of the 1885-CC however, tend to come frosty rather than prooflike; few come close to visual beauty of this handsome MS64 example. Both sides are richly frosted with pearl white luster on the devices. The strike is complete, and the surfaces radiate swirling cartwheel effects with at most a few random bagmarks accounting for the 64 grade and not something higher. Pop 413; 284 finer.
