1881-CC Morgan Dollar. PCGS graded MS-67. Frosty and creamy white. Superb! The surfaces are highly lustrous and each side has a smooth iridescent patina that swirls and alternates between lighter and darker hues. A diminished impression is again the usual outlook for many coins struck this year, but in fact, this piece was left very boldly detailed by the recoil of the sharp dies; a fortunate occurrence. Pop 100; 3 finer in 68. (PCGS # 7126) .
