1879-CC Morgan Dollar. PCGS graded MS-63. Popular key date. Toned. Perfect dies with clear mintmark. Fully lustrous with nice definition and a light natural color on both sides. One of the key Carson City issues and a date that always commands attention in choice Mint State condition. Just 756,000 coins were delivered, and the sales by the General Services Administration in the early 'seventies resulted in the appearance of only 4,123 examples. These coins, like most other '79-CC dollars at the Mint State level, graded predominantly MS60-62. On the other hand, the coin that we are offering here is more than smooth enough to justify the Choice BU designation (PCGS # 7086) .
