1936 Liberty Walking Half Dollar. NGC graded Proof 66. Some mottled sunset toning appears about the borders. 3,901 proofs minted. Rich "cellophane" style toning from the Mint's wrapping. A well struck Gem that has gleaming fields. Taking stock of another key aspect of the grade, this piece has knife-edged devices throughout, including centers, rather than a soft, mushy strike as might be seen on a Mint State specimen. Pop 293; 65 finer.
