1861 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-65. Well struck and deeply toned. In an old green holder. A spectacular Gem with original, deeply toned originality plus impressive pristine surfaces providing a firm base from which to project the color. A great deal of discussion also surrounds a coin's strike. This lovely 1861 half dollar shows excellent detail with no sign of weakness in the key high points of the design. Pop 15; 10 finer in 66.
