1913-S $20 St. Gaudens. NGC graded MS-63. Quite lustrous. An very choice double eagle whose surfaces burst with vivid sunshine gold originality over both sides. In winding this up, we are pleased to see also a strike faithful to every detail from a full blow by the dies, unusual for 1913-S, with marvelously crisp detail found at Liberty's dress and knee, the eagle's neck and wing feathers as well as feet. Only 34,000 minted.
