1912 $20 St. Gaudens. NGC graded MS-65. A beautiful, fully original coin exhibiting rich mint bloom colors. The warm golden hue alternates between levels of frost and satin-texture, giving a slightly striated look to the obverse. Lustrous and well struck with pleasing surfaces. Substantial detail to the highpoints on this fine example is also a keynote, with a thorough and effectual imprint from the dies; there are no weak places left by the dies, none whatsoever. 149,750 minted. Pop 13; 3 finer in 66.
