1907 $20 St. Gaudens. High relief, wire rim. AU-58. Lightly cleaned at one time but with the choice, smooth surface still amply rewarding to the appreciative eye. There is luster throughout this handsomely made coin. When the mint decided to reduce the relief to the less impressive flat relief later in 1907, changed also was the date, which lost its Roman numerals and suffered accordingly. This is an American classic!
