1853 $1 Gold Liberty. PCGS graded MS-66. Well preserved and light golden color. Lightning-bolt bright mint luster and its rich, variegated golden color. Devices were struck with the primary energy to impart the design to the inner areas but not with enough oomph and vigor by the dies to impart clear-cut stars. This is a well-known trait. Pop 18; 10 finer. (PCGS # 7521) .
