1849 $1 Gold Liberty. Open wreath. PCGS graded MS-64. A nice lightly toned example. A beautiful, frosty-gold Gem with luster happily trotting all over the surface of this delightful gold coin; there are no unsettling bagmarks on either side, just swirling mint glow. Keen-edged devices throughout, including the stars and hair detail. A beautiful first-year issue coin (PCGS # 7502) .
