1917-D Liberty Standing Quarter Dollar. Type 2. NGC graded MS-66 Full Head. Delicately toned. Luminous satiny surfaces give a granite-hard foundation for the lovely shades of toning. That being the case, this date is also difficult to find fully struck, with nice detail in Liberty's head. The present coin retains boldness where it counts from a strictly above-average strike.
