1892 Barber Quarter Dollar. NGC graded MS-66 Type 2 reverse. Older holder. A well struck pinkish satiny mint beauty! Pop 81; 23 finer; 17 in 67; 5 in 68; 1 on 68 Star.

Coins of 1892 from all mints, including Proofs, come from two reverse hubs. "Type I" (1892 only) has eagle's wing covering less than half of E(D); "Type II" (1892-1916) has wing covering more than half of E including its entire crossbar, and the other wing overlaps much of R. "Type I" coins are scarcer from all mints and in all grade levels, and form a minority of proofs.
