1918-S Buffalo Nickel. NGC graded MS-65. A spot-free gem. Lightly toned. Unstoppable luster erupts flamboyantly beneath the light nickel gray highlights, while gusts of faint toning form an aura at the edges of the design elements of this satiny gem. The strike is strong for 1918-S save for a limited area of lightness at the bison's shoulder. A key issue in this condition, since only a few have survived the rigors of time. Notice the low census: Pop 9; none finer.
