1869 Indian Head Cent. PCGS graded Proof 64 Red & Brown PQ. Only 600+ proofs struck. A delightful coppery golden specimen with rich mint color blends smoothly into light brown highlights. The reverse has a deeper shade of warm copper with a hint of lavender Sharp and appealing as a Proof, and among the finer examples of the date certified by PCGS, close to Proof 65 quality, in fact. Pop 63; 30 in 65 RB; 4 in 66 RB. (PCGS # 2295) .
