1878 $10 Liberty. PCGS graded AU-58. Nice example with ample luster remaining. Indeed this is a very handsome coin, very sharply struck (full definition in each of the obverse stars) with reddish gold surfaces. No heavy abrasions, only tiny marks. Beautiful satiny-soft luster. Probably one of the nicest 58s in existence, and nicer looking than many of this type graded even MS62 (PCGS # 8680) .
