1900, $10,000 Gold Certificate. . Fr-1225. . KL-1079. Unlike most all other notes, the $10,000 Gold Certificates were printed in sheets of three, not four. These notes had been extremely rare in high grade (and still are rather scarce) until a group showed up in the Washington D.C. area about thirteen years ago. This handsome gem has all the hallmarks of being from that group. It is free of the smoke and water damage that is so common to these notes, with fresh white paper and splendid crispness throughout. The note is well margined, crackling fresh and strictly Uncirculated. An unusual and important item for the paper money specialist. CGA graded Gem Crisp Uncirculated 65 Cancelled.
