Obsolete Bank Note. Washington, D.C. 1862, $5 The Government Bank. DC-255-G6. Uniface. A truly beautiful design with bald eagle, great colors, from a fradulent bank with a deceptive title (yes, there were many such frauds in the days before the National Banking System of 1863 consolidated the banks and did away with private bank note issues. PCGS graded Very Choice New 64PPQ.
