1871 Dollar Octagonal. Liberty Head. . BG-1109. Low Rarity 4. PCGS graded MS-62. Prooflike surfaces with a few very wispy hairlines. A handsome $1 denomination uses the regular Nouizillet head of Liberty with its careful design and sharp execution, above the date the large G for Robert B. Gray. The reverse has a unique look to the ribbon bow which has overlapping bows. Available in lower grades, but much scarcer in this choice condition. Pop 23; 17 finer. (PCGS # 10920) .
