1911-S $5 Indian. PCGS graded MS-64. A thrilling example of this always-popular Type and desirable S-mint date. This exceptional coin is attractively toned and very nicely struck, including most of the lower feathers in the war bonnet. Probably a good many are not as carefully struck as this piece. Very scarce in choice mint condition, as revealed in the Population statistics. Pop 18; 6 in 65; 1 in 66. (PCGS # 8522) .
