Gordian III, 238-244 AD. Lot of 20 AR Antoniniani. All with radiate, draped, and/or cuirassed bust right. Reverses: (A) Victory advancing left, with usual attributes (B) Victory standing left, holding fillet (C) Fortuna enthroned left, two with wheel beneath throne (D) Providence left, holding wand and globe (E) Providence as previous, but globe at feet (F) Apollo seated left, arm resting on lyre; and lastly (G) Gordian in military attire right, holding globe and spear. Inspection suggested, for variety of strikes, surfaces and patinas. Lot of 20 coins. Coins range from Good to Very Fine plus.
