Judea. Under Persian Rule, c. 360-333 BC. AR Yehud Hemiobol (0.31 g). . Hen-427. Rare. Profile view of lily. Reverse: Eagle frontally displayed, head to the right; to right, Hebrew inscription ("YHD"). Hendin 427; AJC I, p. 116, 8. Sharply struck on quite decent metal. Perfectly centered on slightly tight flan, but with complete inscription -- and the eagle virtually so. Toned, and a very fine example. Nearly Extremely Fine.
