1864-L. MINT ERROR. Struck 15% Off Center. NGC graded MS-63 Brown. Quite unusual to find such a rare date mint error. Lustrous brown with familiar wood-grain toning, the L on the ribbon is sharp and easily seen, while the date shows only the tops of the numerals since this is off-center at approximately the 6 o'clock position. Extra bold relief.
