Lot 1754

1843 Liberty Seated Quarter Dollar. NGC graded MS-64. Well struck and white. Bright mint luster characterizes the choice surfaces on this lovely piece. Where an ineffectual imprint is often left by the rebound of the dies that struck the No Motto seated Liberty coinage, the opposite is in fact the case with this P-mint 1843: devices show excellent clarity and above-board detail in the centers as well as at the stars. Bidders be tipped off, you may face stiff competition. Pop 7; 1 in 65; 1 in 66.
Estimated Value $850 - 900.

Realized $1,740
