1838 Liberty Seated Quarter Dollar. PCGS graded MS-64. Lovely deep blue toning with lovely rose at the centers. The colors are iridescent, the surfce frosty in the extreme on this handsome first-year issue. Only marginal weakness occurs at the obverse stars and some of the rim denticles, but the centers are without qualification. Popular type coin. Pop 14; 2 in 65; 3 in 66; 1 in 68. (PCGS # 5391) .
