1820 Coronet Head Cent. Large date. . N-13. NGC graded N-13. MS-64 Brown. Some traces of mint color on the glossy brown surface of this well struck coin. An encircling die break is quite noticeable, and diagnostic for the Newcomb-13 "Randall Hoard" pieces, of which this is likely one. Handsome in every aspect, and also desriable because it shows no carbon spots, only a little darkish gray verdigris at the N of ONE and between ED in UNITED on the reverse.
