1909 Liberty Nickel. NGC graded Proof 68. An elevated degree of colorful toning springs to life in the form of rich gold and faint powder blue highlights with a nice swirl of deeper purple in Liberty's hair bun. Never yielding in the sharp design at the reverse, either, this Proof shows much more detail can be found on the typical, lower-grade example of the date. A rock-solid gem that will attract a lot of attention. Only 4,763 proofs issued. Pop 6; none finer.
