The John Williams Missionary Ship Medal, 1844. The sailing ship is pictured on one side with "Launched at Harwich Mar. 20 1844" and information on the size. The reverse states that the ship is the property of the London Missionary Society and "is intended to convey its missionaries to the Islands of the South Pacific…." It was funded by "Juvenile Friends of the Society." White medal, by J. Davis, 40mm.
