1858 Liberty Seated Quarter Dollar. NGC graded Proof 64. Approx 300 proofs struck. Mostly white with a hint of gold toning. A few tiny lintmarks, as struck. Careening mirrors play vividly beneath golden brown to gray-blue highlights of this early Proof, while bursts of satin quality frost form an aura atop main design elements of this two-tone specimen. The strike is strong in all the key areas including Liberty's hair and shoulder, the stars, and on the reverse the eagle's leg and neck feathers. Pop 16; 13 finer. (PCGS # 5554) .
