Australia. Sovereign, 1855 (Syndey). Fr-9; KM-2. Victoria, 1837-1901. First young portrait of Victoria. Obverse Queen facing left. Reverse: AUSTRALIA within wreath. This is a very nice example of the early type Sovereign. With the usual slightly weak obverse strike, this coin has lots of original luster, and no serious surface abrasions- unlike many other specimens offered in the marketplace. PCGS graded EF-45.
