Byzantine Empire. Heraclius, 610-641 AD. Lot of Two Gold Solidi, Constantinople, c. 616-625 AD. Each with facing busts of Heraclius and son / Cross Potent, but age of son differs on each coin. SBC 738, 743. Decent strikes, with sharp portraits, and both very lustrous. One coin may be an overstrike, and perhaps very slightly clipped (4.39 g). Lot of 2 coins. Coins Choice Very Fine or a bit better.
