Judaea, City Issues. Aelia Capitolina (Jerusalem). Marcus Aurelius, 161-180 AD. AE 25 mm., struck c. 177-181 AD. Confronted busts of Aurelius and Commodus, both laureate, cuirassed and draped. Reverse: Draped bust of Serapis right, wearing modius; ethnic around. Meshorer 57; Kadman I, 63. Sharps portraits of pleasing style. With green and earthen patina. An especially fine example of this type. Scarce in this grade. Nearly Extremely Fine.
