Macedonian Kingdom. Alexander III, the Great, 336-323 BC. Gold Stater (8.54g), "Amphipolis", c. 330-320 BC. Head of Athena right wearing crested Corinthian helmet, serpent on helmet. Reverse: Nike standing left holding wreath and stylis; thunderbolt at left. Price 164; Müller 2. Well centered, with some traces of luster. Very Fine.
