1936 5-piece Proof Set. Key date first year Proof Set after more than a 20 year hiatus. The coins are brilliant with a hint of natural gold toning around the edges. The buffalo nickel is struck with "satin" surface of the first variety, and is the deepest toned of the group. The coins grade Proof 64 or better and are housed in a Capitol plastic holder. Only 3,837 Proofs sets minted in 1936. Lot of 5 coins.
