1867 $20 Liberty. ICG graded AU-55. Untoned and semi prooflike. This is a popular date with collectors, and one of the few issues from the 1860s easily found in Mint condition or high-quality AU from a small hoard distributed into the marketplace way back when. Typical bagmarks are encountered on the portrait, in the field and on the eagle, abut all are consistent with the grade. The fields sparkle with brilliance.
