Holly, Buddy & The Crickets (1936-1959) Singer-Songwriter; died in the same airplane crash that killed the Big Bopper and Richie Valens. Photograph Signed by Buddy, as well as by The Crickets: Jerry Allison and Joe Mauldin, 10"x8", n.p., n.d. (c. 1957-58). Very fine. A promotional photo, signed in black ink by all three. Buddy concerned himself with all aspects of his music, including arranging and record production. Buddy Holly & The Crickets had seven Top Forty singles from Aug. 1957 to Aug. 1958, including "That'll Be the Day" and "Peggy Sue." Buddy Holly was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986.
