(Skouras, Spyros P.). 11" Sterling silver trowel with wooden handle engraved, "Presented to Mr. and Mrs. Spyros P. Skouras / Dionysia Gardens Jerusalem April 18, 1956." Skouras was the very powerful president of 20th Century Fox (1942-63). The ceremonial trowel was a gift to the Greek-born Skouras; perhaps he was an investor in the Dionysia Gardens.
