Irving, Washington. Life of George Washington. NY, 1855-59. 1st Ed. 5 vols., 8vo. Marbled boards and end pages, leather spine and tips, gilt lettering. Covers are worn and rubbed; Vol. V with stain to cover, I and V loose at spine. Each volume has name of an early owner: Samuel Pote (Portland, Me. 1862). Interiors are lightly toned, occasional minor foxing, else tight and very good.
