Edison, Thomas Alva (1847-1931) American inventor with over 1,000 patents, among which were the phonograph and the incandescent electric lamp. Autograph Lab Note Signed "E," in pencil, on deeply toned, ruled paper, 1p, 10½"x8¼", n.p., n.d. Very good; edge chips affect nothing. To Moore, his recording company man, asking Moore to take a solid nickel dis [sic] and "face the back off just as if it was copper & note -- can nickel be turned as well as copper…& can diamond be used….Some day I might want to use nickel only & do away with copper…." Nice content.
