1902, $20 National Bank Note. Fr-661. Bank serial number 44 (lower left corner; the larger number in the right hand corner is the Treasury department's serial number). Large "W" for Western region -- at the time the National Banking Act went into effect in 1862-63, the "West" was still pretty much what we nowadays calls the Midwest. Later, P was chosen for the Pacific Region, etc. PCGS graded Very Good 08.
