1922, $10 Gold Certificate. Fr-1173. Heavy vertical and horizontal folds. It is said that virtually all paper money eventually works its way into a bar or casino where the waiter or waitress ("customer service representative") handles it. If you've ever seen a barmaid folding a stack of notes over her fingers, you'll see how the three main vertical folds and single main horizontal fold comes into existence. A few times through this process and the folds are there for the duration of a note's existence. PCGS graded Fine 12.
Estimated Value $120 - 150.

Realized $138
