Roman Empire. Tiberius, 14-37 AD. AE 24mm. (Semis) of Carthago Nova, Spain, c. 25-30 AD. Scarce. Bare head of Tiberius left; Latin legend around. Reverse: Confronted bare heads of Nero and Drusus Caesar, sons of Germanicus; Latin legend around. RPC 181; Burgos 439; Calico 355. Sharply struck, although apparent die defect partially obscures the portraits on the reverse. Medium to dark green and brown patina. Nice Fine.
