Roman Imperatorial Period. Lot of Julius Caesar Coins in Bronze & Silver, c. 45-25 BC. Two lifetime issues included - Dupondius: Victory bust r. / Minerva left (RPC 601); and Denarius by Sepullius Macer: Veiled head of Caesar / Venus Victrix left (RSC 38). Later issues - Thessalonica, Macedon, AE 22: Caesar head right / Augustus head right (SGIC 151); and two Sestertii of Octavian: Head of Octavian right / Head of Caesar right (Craw. 535/1). Inspection suggested, as there is much variety in surfaces, patinas, and details. But worthwhile, interesting and appealing material here. Lot of 5 coins. Coins range from Good to Fine plus.
