Ptolemaic Egypt. Ptolemy I Soter, 305-283 BC. Gold Pentadrachm (17.83 g), Alexandria mint, struck c. 295-283 BC. Diademed bust of Ptolemi right, wearing aegis. Reverse: Eagle standing left on thunderbolt; at left, M and ΠA monogram. Svoronos 207. The high relief portrait choice, and a bold full strike. Very lustrous. About Extremely Fine.
