Judea. "Widow's Mite" Lot. Good commercial lot. Assorted group of various Hasmonean Lepton / Prutah types, not always distinguishable. With planchet sizes ranging from 9 to 14 mm. Plus 8 Prutahs of John Hyrcanus I, 134 - 104 BC., the son of Simon the Maccabee and nephew of the folk hero Judah Maccabee: Inscription in wreath / Twin cornucopiae (Henedin 452). Close inspection suggested, as surfaces, metal, and patinas vary. Lot of 106 coins. Coins range from Fair to Choice Very Fine.
