Phoenicia. Tyre. after 126 BC. AR Half Shekel or Didrachm (7.0g) struck likely at Jerusalem, 44/45 AD. Laureate bust right of Melqarth. Reverse: Eagle standing left on prow; club and date (year 170) in left field. Date not in BMC; see S. 5921 for type. Light scratches on obverse, spot of porosity at edge of reverse. Very Fine.
