Great Britain. Pattern Crown, Undated (Circa 1829). ESC-265A. Struck in White metal. Plain edge. George IV. Obverse by Benedetto Pistrucci, reverse by J.B. Merlen. Obverse: Laureate head of King left. GEORGIUS IIII D G BRITANNIAR REX FD. Reverse: Royal arms supported, Garter and 'M' for Merlen below. This is an unusually well preserved example of this rare pattern, although it has a metal flaw at 1 o'clock on the obverse rim. Choice About Uncirculated.
