Netherlands - Holland. Double Ducaton Klippe, 1673 (Amsterdam). Dav-4932 var; Delm-1018b. 65.73 grams. Knight riding right. Reverse: Crowned crest supported by lions, shield of Amsterdam beneath. Proof-like. Extremely Rare. Extremely Fine to About Uncirculated.

This issue, with the special addition of the arms of the city of Amsterdam, was struck specifically to pay for the army to fight the French (Mailliet-sup.p11, van Loon-III/p74).
